Toni Sailer: founder hands over brand to next generation
The premium skiwear brand, based in Grasbrunn near Munich, has a new owner, Kevin Taubenberger, the company announced on Thursday. The 36-year-old has been managing director of Fashion Pool GmbH, the company behind Toni Sailer, since 2022.
“For me, this takeover means taking responsibility for what has been built, while also providing new impetus for the future,” said Kevin Taubenberger.
He has been with the company since 2014. He initially established the business in the US, before taking responsibility for the e-commerce division and driving digitalisation.
“Kevin has played a decisive role in shaping the company in recent years and has increasingly taken on more responsibility,” said Hans Taubenberger, who founded the brand in 2004. “The transfer of ownership is therefore the logical next step for me. I look forward to seeing how he continues to develop Toni Sailer with his own unique touch.”
According to the company, Toni Sailer is available at 224 points-of-sale across 32 countries. A separate subsidiary exists for North America. The collection consists of premium ski and sportswear for womenswear and menswear. In its own webshop, men's trousers are priced from 599 euros and jackets from 1,299 euros. The range is complemented by matching accessories such as gloves and hats.
