Johnny Bigg strengthens US retail presence

Australian menswear brand Johnny Bigg is expanding its retail presence across the United States through a new partnership with department store chain Belk.

Through the partnership, Johnny Bigg is set to open concession stands in five Belk stores, including locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama. The retail expansion underlines the big and tall menswear brand's ongoing growth in the US following its introduction in 2020.

"Our entry into Belk stores is a significant milestone for Johnny Bigg," said Katie Burtt, general manager of Johnny Bigg USA, in a statement. "Together, we're making it easier for big & tall men to access the fashion they want in the size that they need. We're eager to see how this collaboration evolves and look forward to bringing even more of our great offering to Belk shoppers."

Each concession stand will offer a curated edit of the brand’s collection, with the full Johnny Bigg range available online at johnnybigg.com and via Johnny Bigg's other retail partners. The brand’s launch in Belk is not only a key milestone, it also signals the start of further ambitions for expanding its reach across the US market.

Coinciding with the brand launch in Belk, Johnny Bigg is also set to debut its new collection this week, which includes a range of casual essentials, including knit shirts, hoodies, jeans, and casual jackets, complemented by elevated pieces such as chinos, blazers, and suits.

Founded in Sydney in 2014, Johnny Bigg specializes in clothing for big and tall men, offering casual to formal styles in sizes L-8XL and LT-4XLT.
