Dario Vitale is creative director of Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani accessories
Dario Vitale, born in 1983, has been appointed creative director of Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani accessories with immediate effect, the first to hold this role outside the Armani family.

His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter in the brand's history and opens a dialogue between innovation and identity. It consolidates the group's creative structure and accompanies its evolution, respecting the aesthetic vision that has always distinguished the Giorgio Armani name, the note reads.

Who is Dario Vitale
Born in 1983, the designer grew up in Southern Italy before moving to Milan, where he now lives and works. He began his training at the Istituto Marangoni, then embarked on a career that led him to collaborate with some of the most prestigious Italian luxury houses, including Bottega Veneta under the direction of Tomas Maier.
Joining Miu Miu in 2010, Vitale worked closely with Miuccia Prada, eventually holding the position of design director of ready-to-wear and brand image director, a role he left in March 2025.
In April 2025, he was appointed chief creative officer of Versace, becoming the first designer outside the Versace family to lead the creative direction of the house.
