Lupita Nyongo's custom Calvin Klein gown, which featured more than 6,000 crystal pearls, has been recovered the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has confirmed.

The gown, which was stolen from her hotel room at the London Hotel in West Hollywood last Tuesday, was recovered after the police received a call from gossip site TMZ, who said they had received information from an anonymous caller with regards the location of the stolen Calvin Klein dress.

According to TMZ, the caller stated that the missing dress was left in a bathroom on the second floor of the London Hotel, which the police confirmed was where they found the gown inside a black garment bag underneath the counter.

At a news conference Friday night, Lt. Michael White of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, displayed the recovered gown, and said: "We believe this dress is the dress that was stolen from the London Hotel."

The one-of-a-kind dress, which was custom made in collaboration with the 12 Years a Slave actress, had been priced at around 150,000 dollars, however, the anonymous caller stated that the dress was returned because the pearls were fake.

''Whether the jewels on the dress are fake or real,” added White. “We still have a burglary and we still have a grand theft.''

"All of us at Calvin Klein are thrilled to know that the dress has potentially been located," said Francisco Costa, Women’s Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection to WWD. ”This was an amazing collaboration between the brand and Lupita and the dress looked truly exquisite on her. Once it's returned to us, we will be able to have the dress restored and archived, as it now represents an important moment for the brand."

At this time, no one has been arrested and the investigation is still ongoing.
