Fashion creation prize: city of Paris awards Anthony Calydon and Collectivo
The official awards ceremony for the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris took place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The Révélation and Engagement Mode awards were presented to Anthony Calydon and Collectivo, while the Révélation Métiers d’Art prize went to Chloé Valorso. FashionUnited had already scouted these three talents.
The awards ceremony was introduced by Anouch Torarian, deputy mayor of Paris for commerce, crafts and liberal professions. She replaces Nicolas Bonnet-Oulaldj, who was previously responsible for fashion.

Anthony Calydon wins Révélation Mode prize
The winner of the Révélation prize is the designer everyone in the fashion world is talking about this year. He won the Pierre Bergé Andam 2026 prize and was mentioned several times in an interview with Jean-Pierre Blanc. He was also cited as a key participant in Run Tokyo September 2026.
Meeting him at the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris gave FashionUnited a better insight into what sets him apart. He has spent 12 years refining his brand DNA through various collaborations. His trademark overlocking, collaborations with Adidas, and an upcoming presentation in January 2027 have now propelled him into the ranks of influential designers.
Samia Boukbir for Collectivo wins Engagement Mode prize
FashionUnited recently dedicated an article to Collectivo. Samia Boukbir is behind a very simple idea: recovering textile or industrial waste to make new clothes. In other words, taking the time to repair what is no longer viable to give it a new life.
Repair is the new buzzword in a fashion system that is cracking. Every player at every level of the value chain is trying to revitalise it as best they can.
Notably, Collectivo is inaugurating its new space during the Fête des Puces this Wednesday, September 24.
Chloé Valorso, winner of Révelation Métiers d’Art prize
Finally, Révelation Métiers d’Art prize winner Chloé Valorso was spotted during a feature on Les Ateliers de Paris. The daughter of Virginie Bertrand (formerly of the Fédération du Prêt-à-Porter, now a journalist), this young artist has developed her narrative since that first meeting.
To her relationship with bronze and her talismanic jewellery sculptures, she has added a new dimension: transcendental breathing learned from Indonesian shamans. This is a message she openly shared with the audience when receiving her award, which she believes is "audible" today.
It is perhaps a path to explore for finding the strength to be oneself and to mend a consumer society that many professionals and consumers now see as obsolete. This is especially true in light of the many social, environmental and, for some, animal welfare issues. All this, under the gilded ceilings of the Republic.
