French luxury house Balenciaga, part of the Kering group, has launched a skiwear collection. The line is presented in a dedicated campaign photographed by Adam Peter Johnson, which focuses on the pieces' versatility for both indoor and outdoor wear.
The images place the collection in distinctly Parisian interiors, where snow falls surreally inside the rooms.
The range centres on material innovation, according to the brand. It includes thermoregulating down outerwear in streamlined silhouettes, as well as layering pieces developed for cold climates.
Styles include high-collar parkas, reversible blousons, cropped puffer jackets, stola jackets and snow pants. The pieces are made in techno cotton or nylon, and are insulated and finished for resistance.
The Balenciaga skiwear collection is available in select stores worldwide and online.
