MySale Group online sales up 19 percent in H1

In its interim announcement for the six months to Decemeber 31, 2016, MySale Group said underlying EBITDA increased to 3 million Australian dollars (2.3 million dollars) compared to 1.8 million Australian dollars (1.3 million dollars) in 2015. Online revenue increased 19 percent to 127.1 million Australian dollars (97 million dollars).

“We are pleased with the strong start we have made to the year. We carry good momentum into the, historically stronger, second half of the year and have a number of exciting initiatives which will support our future growth. The growth of our underlying EBITDA for four consecutive half year periods endorses our strategic plan and we remain confident in the full year’s prospects,” said Carl Jackson, Chief Executive Officer in a statement.

The company’s gross profit increased 17 percent to 38.4 million Australian dollars (29.4 million dollars), while underlying profit before tax was 0.6 million Australian dollars (0.4 million dollars) against loss of 0.2 million Australian dollars (0.15 million dollars) in the first half of 2015.

MySale Group said that the active customer base increased 19 percent to 870,000 and average order value (AOV) increased 3 percent to 86 Australian dollars (65 dollars).
