Salvatore Ferragamo revenue climb 5 percent for H1

Salvatore Ferragamo reported its net profit for H1 grew on Tuesday. Compared with the same period last year, revenues climbed by 5 percent.

The company's net profit for H1 was 60 million euros, increased from 59 million euros a year earlier. Furthermore, revenues increased to 705 million euros.

Salvatore Ferragamo (BIT: SFER) is an Italian luxury goods company, with headquarters in Florence, specializing in footwear, leather goods, and ready-to-wear for men and women. The company was founded in 1927 and is the parent company of the Ferragamo Group. The company also licences eyewear and watches.

As of 2019, Salvatore Ferragamo has more than 4,000 employees and operates over 700 stores.
